The Creekside
Church of the Brethren is located in Elkhart, Indiana, in
the Northern Indiana District of the Church of the Brethren.
We are located at 60455 County Road 113, Elkhart, Indiana,
on the south side of Elkhart. Please join us for worship on
Sunday mornings.
| On the I-80/90 Indiana Toll Road

Take exit
95 at the Elkhart East exit. Turn left from the Toll Road exit
and follow CR 17 south to US 20. Turn right onto US 20 and go
west to the next exit at US 33. At US 33 turn right and go south
thru four stop lights. Go past the fourth light about 1/4-mile
to CR 113. Turn right and go approximately 1 mile to the church
on your right.
Exit at the
US 33 exit. At
US 33 turn right and go south. After the light at the Citgo
gas station, go about 1/4-mile to CR 113. Turn right and go
approximately 1 mile to the church on your right.
Take Main
Street south from town past Concord Mall. Past the second stop
light AFTER the light at the mall, (at the Citgo gas station)
go about 1/4-mile to CR 113. Turn right and go approximately
1 mile to the church on your right.
Take Main
Street north from town, following U.S. 33 north toward Elkhart.
Travel north to County Road 28 (at Peddlers Village Road). Turn
left at the light and follow County Road 28 to County Road 113.
Turn right onto County Road 113 and travel north about a mile
to the church on the left.

Take Benham
Avenue south to Mishawaka Road (CR 20). Turn left and go to
US 33. Turn right onto US 33 and go past the next stop light
about 1/4-mile
to CR 113. Turn right and go approximately 1 mile to the church
on your right.

About Elkhart, Indiana
Elkhart
is located at the northern end of Indiana on the Michigan
border along Interstates 80/90 and US highways 33 and 20,
east of South Bend, where the Elkhart River meets the St Joseph
River. It is approximately midway between Detroit and Indianapolis
and about 100 miles east of Chicago. City population is approximately
44,840 although the surrounding area makes for a much larger
population. Because it is dissected by the two rivers and
lies on level farmland, it is considered one of Indiana's
richest farming centers.
The name
of Elkhart came from a group of Indians camped at the mouth
of the St Joseph and Elkhart rivers. It was said they believed
the island that is nestled in the mouth resembles an elk's
heart.
Elkhart
is also known as both the Band Instrument capital of the World
and the Recreational Vehicle Manufacturing Center of the Nation.
It is a thriving manufacturing center of Indiana.
Elkhart
in surrounded by a number of fine colleges. In Elkhart, is
the Associated
Mennonite Biblical Seminary. In nearby South Bend, Indiana,
is Notre Dame University
and IUSB, Indiana
University at South Bend. Nearby, in Goshen, Indiana,
is Goshen
College.

has a number of annual events thoughout the year including
the Jazz
Festival in late June, Rhapsody in Green, and the Elkhart
Air Show. One of the biggest yearly events county-wide
is the Elkhart
County 4-H Fair in July.
Cultural
activity includes The Elkhart
County Symphony Orchestra, a Municipal Band, the Midwest
Museum of American Art, National
New York Central Railroad Museum, The Elco
Performing Arts Center, and the Recreational Vehicles-Motor
Homes Hall of Fame.

the warmest in July and the coldest in January. Elkhart is
